Present Activities
I. CHILDREN CARE
Anna Dhanam - Feeding the Poor
In this Universe, food is the only thing with which human beings feel contented as they can not take more than what is needed. Feeding the needy is a noble cause. This charity of feeding is not only contemporary but in existence from ancient times. Feeding the poor is a concept well enshrined in Dharma. "Tamil Saint Thiruvalluvar" in 'Thirukkural' has insisted that providing food to the hungry people is meaningful in possessing wealth by a noble person.
Vidya Dhanam - Gift of Education
Education is the greatest asset of a human being. It is our primary responsibility to provide these children, whom we take care of, with education. Your contribution to these schemes would go a long way in achieving this.
Children Camps
We are conducting Children camps to educate their personnal skills and talents.
Tuition Center (Supplementary Education)
With the intention to motivate and educate the disadvantaged school going children, the Trust runs 1 tuition center, which help more than 50 children through its supplementary education activity. These tuition centers supplement the school learning in some of the targeted villages.
II. YOUTH CARE
Youth Camps
The Trust organizes a periodical youth camps for youth in the age group of 12 to 21 years. The main aim of this camp is to equip the youth in life coping skills, to enhance their developmental tasks, to organize them to be the best, and to make them as goodwill ambassadors of their neighborhood.
III. FAMILY CARE
Family Awareness Camps
Family ties are stronger among rural families and are often desperately influenced by lack of awareness in common agendas of life. Family awareness enables the unorganized families to plan better for the future, including parents, children and girl child in the family. Families who attended this one-day camp do demonstrate high motivation and joyful living.
Widows and Aged Care
Needy widows and aged people are lacking basic supplies like food, hygiene supplies and clothing. To meet out their basic needs, the Trust has introduced poor feeding, and handouts them hygiene supplies and clothes.
IV. HEALTH CARE
Health Camps
Health is a major concern among the targeted people because the backwardness of community with subsistence economy and seasonal employment. Keeping their hardship in mind, the Trust is periodically organizes health camp in the villages. People identified with severe with and chronic health problems are referred to the nearest Government Hospitals for further treatment and medication.
